Traditionally, each of the four Advent candles has a deeper meaning, which is depicted in the Four Weeks of Advent Wreath:
The 1st Sunday of Advent symbolizes Hope with the “Prophet's Candle” reminding us
that Jesus is coming.
Mission is not so much about ‘departing’
but instead ‘remaining’ in order to proclaim Christ through hospitality and welcome,
compassion and solidarity.
Consecrated life is a radical vocation
to witness God’s tender,
forgiving love.
