UN updates
The winter has been long and cold, albeit with a couple of fantastic weekend snowstorms to bring some excitement. January’s snowstorm saw students moving to online learning and others working from home. In February, students got a proper snow day off from their studies. For both snowstorms, Central Park was filled with families and kids sledding down hills, throwing snowballs, building snowmen, and letting their dogs frolic in the freshness.

As winter turned into spring, the centre has become busier with silent 3-day retreats as well as a number of private retreats. A few highlights were: hosting the Loretto Associates for a weekend; sharing two-days with the full staff of the Loretto Ministries; and a fully booked new writing retreat: Journaling as Spiritual Practice.
